understand our customer’s unique requirement and custom our design to meet their specific and
unique demand.
• NO. The Blast freezer design is totally different from the freezer cold room design. The Blast
freezer is designed to operates at a much lower temperature than the cold room and in this
designs much more heavy equipment and materials are used which in turn attracts more cost to
build.
• We are not limited by size in our designs and installation, in fact we design according to you
specified requirement and available resources. Most of our cold rooms are built on the client’s
facility. We procure all needed equipment and material and deploy them to the clients location,
where the installation and assembling is carried out within an estimated period of time.
• YES. We have partners who are into the cold room business of leasing out their cold room
facilities at reasonable fee for an agreed period of time.
• YES we do. At Ofin Global Engineering we understand the importance of periodic maintenance
activities for machines, this is why one of our core services in the company is the Annual
Maintenance Contract (AMC). The AMC is a comprehensive maintenance package which our
clients are encouraged to subscribe to in other to take up all the cold room maintenance

• A cold room can be as large as a football field, or as your standard room. The size and budget of
the cold room is majorly determined by the client’s products requirement i.e. the capacity of
products he wants to store in the cold room. You can check out price list page for various

• Depending on the capacity of the Cold Room to be installed, but for a standard cold room size
(say like 15Tons) our delivery time is 14 days.

rooms constantly regulated at the products storage temperature range.
• YES! Once your cold room is been installed by us we take the cold room as our baby, and we
give it the top routine and corrective maintenance care it requires for optimum and reliable
performance at a discounted price.
• Our Cold Room machines are designed to operate on any 3-phase power source. Our electric
motors operates on 415volts, 50Hz, 3-phase AC power source. The power source could be from
the National power grid, or a standard 3-phase generator. Also we now design energy
conservative machines that can operate on solar energy power source.
• The acronym HVAC&R stands for Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• A Freezer Cold Storage Room is a Negative Temperature Cold Room whose operating
temperature could range between -50c to -200c depending on the products storage temperature.
Mostly the Cold Room types are used in the storage of Frozen Foods, Meats and the likes.
• A Chiller Cold Room on the other hand is a Positive Temperature Cold Room whose operating
temperature could range between 00c to 180c also depending on the products storage
temperature. This Cold Room types are used in the storage of Fruits, Vegetables, Dairies,
Pharmaceutical Products and the likes.
• While Blast Freezers, on like the Chiller Storage Rooms and the Freezer Storage Rooms are
Processing Cold Rooms (i.e. not meant for product storage). The Blast freezers operates at
extremely low temperature ranges of -350c and below. This type of cold rooms are mostly used
by the farmers for the processing of their freshly slaughtered poultry products before storage in
the freezer cold room to maintain the temperature. They are also used in the ice cream
processing factories.
